One brief, but effective Facebook post is sure to have sent chills down the spine of all those who consider themselves peers of EDM wunderkind Flume, who has confirmed that album #2 is “very much underway.”
22-year-old Harley Streten took the international stage by storm following the release of his 2013 self-titled debut, tightening his vice grip on the scene with a flurry of remixes and mixtapes seeing his name in lights alongside the likes of Ghostface Killah, Chet Faker, Freddie Gibbs and of course, Lorde.
Now, his intimidating following waits with bated breath to discover if Flume has what it takes to back up his debut. “Very well underway” isn’t a terribly reliable time frame on which to base predictions, but fingers crossed we’ll have something ready to soundtrack summer of 2014.
Whatever happens, LP 2 is unlikely to feature this track.
