New Zealand hard rock festival Westfest last week announced its return in 2015, and today organisers have dropped a massive lineup led by the likes of Soundgarden, Faith No More and Judas Priest.
The festival will take place at Auckland’s Alexander Park on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2015, and despite the 2014 event being held over two days at Vector Arena, Westfest 2015 promises to be bigger than ever before with more artists, stages, and now a brand-new venue.
In its initial year Westfest featured bands who were already going to be in the region for Australia’s Soundwave Festival, and it’s the same again this year. Joining the three at the head of the lineup are fellow Soundwave acts All Time Low, Lagwagon, Crown The Empire and The Wonder Years, who earlier this year had to cancel their Australian tour and their first appearance in New Zealand.
