Citizen Kay Announces Tour And Mini-Album
Canberra raised MC Citizen Kay has announced his new Demokracy mini-album will be released on Friday, November 7th and in celebration he’ll be going out on tour, taking the stage at various club venues across the East Coast this November.
Citizen Kay hasn’t missed a beat since releasing his debut single YES! at the start of 2013. Touring and reaching audiences around Australia as well as hooking up with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Danny Brown and Public Enemy for tours, he is now gearing up to release his mini-album which also features four new tracks.
One such track is the new single Freedom, inspired by a television new report following in incident of gang violence in the US. “It’s probably one of the only songs I’ve written completely from someone else’s shoes but still somehow, at the same time felt like it could have been me,” said Citizen Kay of the song.
