Brisbane four piece The Cairos have been bringing the tunes to stages across the world on their biggest tour to date, across the UK, Asia and a CMJ showcase, and now they’re heading home for a bunch of summer festivals and some solo shows, in celebration of Row Of Homes the third single from their 2014 album Dream Of Reason.
On top of their performances at the Drop In Festival, Gorgeous Festival, Festival of the Sun and Woodford Folk Festival, The Cairos will play two headlining shows in Sydney at the Newtown Social Club and Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club.
The previous triple j Unearthed winners have also unveiled the brand new video for the single that inspired the tour, Row Of Homes, made in conjunction with Jack Daniel’s and ARIA Artisan Award nominated Brisbane based filmmaker Dan Graetz.
“The song describes the breaking down of oneself to the point of no return,” explains The Cairos’ Alistar Richardson. “The video captures this aloneness; The feeling of the world passing you by as you’re trapped in your own head. Everything seems like a blur and it’s hard to understand what is real and what is imagined.”
