Welsh indie rock outfit Catfish and The Bottlemen have locked in two debut Australian headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, to take place around their national tour supporting Britain’s The Kooks.
Catfish and The Bottlemen formed in Llandudno, North Wales, in 2007. Led by vocalist/guitarist Van McCann, Catfish and The Bottlemen have now performed at over thirty international festivals, including Reading & Leeds, Latitude and New York City’s Governors Ball.
The group have released three EPs to date, and dropped their debut album The Balcony, produced by Jim Abiss (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian), in September. Catch album cut Cocoon, below.
Catfish and The Bottlemen will perform in Sydney on Monday, 19th January 2015, supported by Sydney locals Food Court. The band will later play a headline show in Melbourne on Sunday, 25th January, supported by local rockers Apes.
