Organisers of the exclusive The Hills Are Alive festival have today announced the first lineup for the event’s seventh edition, which includes some of the country’s best up-and-coming talent like Melbourne MC Remi, Canberra trio Safia, Tassie punks Luca Brasi and alt-country artist Jen Cloher.
Also amongst the 23 names kicking off the lineup for the 2015 March event, which will expand to two nights next year, is Melbourne based musician Harts, folk duo Pierce Brothers, solo producer LUCIANBLOMKAMP, Perth artist Grace and multi-instrumentalist Spender.
More names are expected to be announced closer to the festival which will take place at the “Farm”, outside of Melbourne, from 3pm Friday 27th March to 4pm Sunday 29th March 2015.
To be able to attend The Hills Are Alive, punters need to be invited by a friend who has attended previously or by one of the performers themselves. Passes for the event are now available, for those able to obtain “The Farmer’s Secret Password”, through the The Hills Are Alive website.
According to organisers, a 3-day adult pass with camping included costs $159. A THAA Friends Pass is good for five people and works out at $149 per friend and a 3-day child ticket, for those under 18 accompanied by an adult, costs $69. Punters under 12 can attend free, but again must be accompanied by an adult.
