Boutique festival Boogie 9 has added a host of international and local names to its already impressive lineup.
US rockers Strand Of Oaks have been added alongside Aussie favourites The Murlocs and Darren Hanlon who’s set to release a new album, Where Did You Come From, next month.
They are set to join the acts announced in the first announcement which include Jazz legend Pokey La Farge and raw Tennessee singer-songwriter Justin Townes Earle as well as Drunk Mums and You Am I guitarist Davey Lane.
Boogie is now in its ninth year of bringing good vibes to the Easter long weekend. It’s a festival that prides itself on musical diversity and has in the past seen sets by Gary Clarke Jr, Pond, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis and Jim James of My Morning Jacket.
It’s set to take place at Bruzzy’s farm in Tallarook, Victoria. Bruzzy is a local legend who’s kindly opened his gates to the festival since its inception. By all reports the food is top-notch while the booze is also quality. The festival is also BYO if you prefer to sip on your own selections.
If you’re hanging out for more artists to boogie to, don’t despair. The festival is still yet to announce their lineup of DJs as well as eclectic on site entertainment.
The three-day, all-ages camping festival runs over Easter Weekend from Friday, 3rd April to Sunday, 5th April 2015. Tickets are on sale now.
