Sydney indie rockers Gang Of Youths have announced a string of national tour dates in celebration of the imminent release of their debut album The Positions, due out this Friday, 17th April.
Gang Of Youths will kick off their national jaunt on Friday, 15th May in their home town of Sydney before moving on to shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Fremantle.
Known for their killer live chops, Gang Of Youths have honed their craft playing alongside acts like Frightened Rabbit, Vampire Weekend and Foster The People, and recently stopped by triple j for Like A Version to deliver an excellent cover of LCD Soundsystem’s beloved dance-punk hit All My Friends.
The Positions was recorded over two years and, according to their press release, is “an eclectic euphony of enduring catharsis”. It will feature singles Poison Drum and the band’s most recent Radioface.
Fans can get a taste of the album before it drops this Friday via Spotify, where the band will be streaming a track from The Positions every day this week.
