The Presets To Give Keynote Speech At Vivid Ideas Music Conference

Australian electronic power-duo The Presets have been announced as the keynote speakers for this year’s Vivid youth music conference, FEEDBACK. The pair have been selected to take up the role after Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah gave the keynote speech last year.

FEEDBACK is an annual youth-centric music conference co-hosted by all-ages entertainment group Indent and Vivid Sydney. It’s a project of MusicNSW funded through ArtsNSW, and according to Indent’s website, aims to help 12-25 year olds get a leg up in the music business.

The event’s 2015 keynote will see The Presets’ Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes in conversation with triple j‘s ‘Home and Hosed’ host Dom Alessio, pooling their musical knowledge and no doubt sharing some inspiring words for the industry’s up-and-comers.

FEEDBACK 2015 will be held at Sydney’s Museum Of Contemporary Art in June as part of Vivid Sydney’s Vivid Ideas Exchange program, and will also feature music industry guest speakers such as The Preatures’ Isabella Manfredi, Art Vs Science’s Dan Williams, Andy Bull, KLP, former Bluejuice frontman Jake Stone and 11-year-old producer Black Summer.
