Melbourne producer Muscles has cancelled his I Believe In Unicorns national tour after announcing it less than two weeks ago. And no, ice cream is not gonna save the day.
Muscles, who was set to play shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth this August, has taken to Facebook this evening to tell fans, “Unfortunately we’re going to have to cancel these tour dates. We are working ‘balls to the wall’ on the third Muscles album and will keep you all updated soon.”
What’s more, the websites which were being used to sell tickets to Muscles’ tour note that the shows have been cancelled, or no longer show his previously announced concerts. Ticket holders are being told to contact the point of purchase for full refunds.
Muscles dropped his new song, Unicorns (below), in May, and was later announced on Brisbane’s 2015 BIGSOUND lineup. At the time of writing, Muscles is still listed as a 2015 act on the BIGSOUND website.
