Sydney’s waterside music festival Harbourlife has announced its 2015 return, with the boutique house event set to take place at Mrs Macquarie’s Point on Saturday, 21st November this year.
Harbourlife announced its return, which sits slightly later in November compared to last year’s event, on Facebook this afternoon, telling fans to save the date.
Harbourlife’s 2015 lineup is yet to be announced, but is expected some time in August. Last year’s lineup boasted the likes of Norwegian DJ and producer Kygo, London based electronic duo Dusky and LA’s Classixx.
Last year’s Harbourlife event was marred by 78 drug-related arrests and the tragic death of 19-year-old Sydney woman Georgina Bartter, who suffered multiple organ failure after ingesting two pills.
Bartter’s friend Rebecca Hannibal, who pleaded guilty to supplying the drugs, has been given a 12-month good behaviour bond, while a man was arrested in February for allegedly selling the pills to Hannibal.
UPDATE 04/08/15: Harbourlife’s 2015 lineup has arrived, boasting the likes of German house duo Booka Shade, English producer and DJ Eats Everything and German DJ and producer Tensnake. Catch the lineup alongside ticket details, below.
