Listen Out 2015 Crate Diggers Lineup Announced

The Listen Out 2015 lineup just got even bigger thanks to a stack of new local DJ acts who will each perform on the festival’s Red Bull Music Academy Crate Diggers stage, busting out everything from Italo-disco to Daft Punk classics, mash-ups, grime and ’90s trip-hop.

This year’s Red Bull Music Academy Crate Diggers include Australia’s Daft Punk tribute show, Discovery, and triple j‘s Hack host, Tom Tilley, who will be dedicating himself to playing only Australian dance music.

Also on the lineup is Jordan James & Kendall Banks, who will bring some tropical vibes to the festival; Jimmy D & MJ Monsta, who are packing some acid house tunes; and Lachness & Lavitz, who are focusing on “Aussie dance music pre-2010”.

Each DJ act has a chosen style or period of dance music, and will bringing it back alive and kicking to this year’s Listen Out events.

Listen Out’s 2015 Crate Diggers, which vary in each city the festival travels to, join an already impressive lineup featuring heavyweights like Childish Gambino, SBTRKT, Joey Bada$$, Alison Wonderland, Client Liason and Rae Sremmurd.

Listen Out 2015 begins in Melbourne on Saturday, 26th September, and finishes up in Brisbane on Sunday, 4th October. Catch festival dates, venues, ticket information and the full lineup, below.
