Earlier this year, Mark Ronson said that he was going into the studio with Lana Del Rey which led to assumptions that he would definitely be on her album, despite the fact that the outcome of those studio sessions was never revealed.
Well, Ronson hates to “crap all over your excitement,” but he won’t by on Del Rey‘s third album Honeymoon. “We just worked a couple [of] days together and I think she’s amazing, but we didn’t actually end up doing anything for her album,” Ronson told Digital Spy at V Festival in the UK.
“I said it and I shouldn’t have opened my big mouth, but I love that track Honeymoon and the stuff I’ve heard from the record is great.”
So there you are. Mark Ronson has officially shot down any chance of him being on the album.
We’ve already heard previously released title-track, High By The Beach and Terrence Loves You, and the rest of the album will be revealed on 18th September when the record is released.
Lana Del Rey is also set to appear on a track called Prisoner on The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness which is released tomorrow.
