You Am I Announce Tenth Album ‘Porridge & Hotsauce’ And A National Tour

There hasn’t been much news coming from the You Am I camp of late but that’s all about to change with word of a brand new album and national tour.

The legendary Aussie band are gearing up for the release of Porridge & Hotsauce, their first album since their self-titled release in 2010. The record is due to drop 6th November and will be celebrated by a huge 19-date tour national headline tour.

Porridge & Hotsauce is preceded by first single Good Advices. “Good Advices is about throwing away the script and clinging to your imagination as the only guide,” says frontman Tim Rogers of the song.

“We’ve trusted our wits so far, and if it got us here, this hopped up and rarin’ to go, our wits done good.”

You Am I have managed an unparalleled career so far. Over 25 years they’ve made 10 albums, won 10 ARIA awards, released two live albums and two ‘best of’ collections plus played with legends like The Rolling Stones and The Who. News of a new album and tour shows that despite all this success they’re not ready to rest on their laurels or rest full stop just yet.

The Delta Riggs will be supporting You Am I on this latest tour which is due to start in Geelong at the end of October.
