Florence + The Machine have made a big splash on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The Mercury Prize-nominated act starring Florence Welch performed their chart-busting How Big, How Blue How Beautiful single Ship To Wreck *literally* in a pool of water on the Ellen stage, with Florence singing and splashing around like some kind of gorgeous redheaded mermaid that just grew legs.
Wait, hold on, I’m having deja vu…
Although Ariel never had to contend with the dangers of singing alongside a fully electrified backing band. But Florence managed to stave off electrocution by perching her backline safely atop dry stage risers.
Aussie fans will get a chance to be part of her world when Florence + The Machine comes to splash around on our shores this November.
