Lovers of music and meat — assemble. Sydney’s new “music and meat festival”, Meatstock, has dropped its juicy 2016 lineup, lead by the beardy beard-lovers The Beards, Sydney rockers The Snowdroppers, Henry Wagons and Mustered Courage.
Other acts on the inaugural Meatstock bill include Davidson Brothers, Big Blind Ray and The Buffalo Grass Boyswith, with more acts still to be announced.
Meatstock 2016 is going down across two days in February, including Valentine’s Day, so meat lovers everywhere can share in their passion and chow down with their one true love, meat.
Aside from the tunes, Meatstock 2016 will also play host to a series of wars (don’t worry, they’re the good kind of wars) — we’re talkin’ barbecue wars, butcher wars and barber wars. There will also be a meat and barbecue expo and plenty of craft beer (and, of course, meat) on hand.
Meatstock 2016 is taking place at Sydney Showgrounds on the 13th and 14th February. Catch the festival’s first string of artists alongside ticket details, below.
