Due to their performance at the Flipart Festival in Canberra and recent invitation to attend the New Zealand International Arts Festival, Los Amigos Invisibles will have only one show in Sydney on Tuesday March 9th @ 9 pm. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy the ultimate Latin funk experience at Australia’s temple of music, The Basement, 29 Reiby Place, Circular Quay.
The first 100 buyers to purchase tickets at selected Guzman y Gomez locations will also receive a free $20 GyG Store Voucher. See below for all participating locations. Regular tickets are available from Moshtix or The Basement.
The new album COMMERCIAL is now available locally thru FUSE Group.
Discovered by David Byrne in New York City almost two decades ago, Los Amigos Invisibles has prospered through 18 years, visiting 60 countries, releasing six albums and winning a Latin Grammy in 2009 for their latest album “Commercial”, the album that embodies their infectious blend of Latin rhythms, funk, disco and acid jazz.
They have recorded and collaborated with the likes of Louie Vega, Dimitri from Paris (“Superpop Venezuela”) and Masters at Work (“Venezuelan Zinga Son”).
