The steady stream of Groovin The Moo 2016 Sideshows continues unabated as US electro-rock outfit Mutemath join the fray.
Announcing their own run of headline shows in April and May, the New Orleans group will be visiting the eastern cities and Perth on what will be their third visit to Oz since the release of their 2012 debut.
Recently releasing their fourth album Vitals, the band have been riding a wave of critical acclaim for trading in their alt-rock leanings in for some club credentials, replacing blues riffs with disco synths.
A hardworking band who’ve earned their stripes over a decade of recording and touring, Mutemath broke through to Australian audiences in a big way after their 2011 album Odd Soul was named triple j Feature Album.
The band have also scored themselves a Grammy nomination, as well as playing on some of the world’s leading festival stages such ad Lollapalooza, Reading and Leeds Festivals and more. These are going to be some massive shows!
