Kanye West Captured Having A Tantrum In Leaked Audio Of SNL Backstage Meltdown

There were reports that Kanye West had a breakdown only minutes before his Saturday Night Live performance over the weekend and almost stormed off set, and now someone has leaked the audio of the ordeal.

In a clip obtained by Page Six, Kanye is heard going crazy about the set that he was due to perform on.

“Look at that shit,” he says.

“They took my fuckin stage offa SNL without asking me, now I’m bummed.”

There’s been plenty of controversy surrounding Kanye in the past couple of days, thanks to his epic Twitter rants and his infamous, Tay Tay-slandering “I made that bitch famous” line, which he raps on Famous off his new album The Life Of Pablo. Kanye said that Swift approved the line prior to its release, however a spokesperson denied that and during this latest rant, Kanye calls her a “fake ass”.

The comment comes seemingly out of nowhere as he spends most of the time talking about the set and how influential he is. This rant even came before Swift allegedly took a swipe at him during her Grammy acceptance speech for Album of the Year when she said, “There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.”

The rest of the rant focusses on the fact that he is apparently “50 per cent more influential than any other human being.”

“Don’t fuck with me,” he says.

“By 50 per cent dead or alive, by 50 per cent for the next thousand years.”

And if you thought any human being was immune from that statement, you’re wrong. He clarifies that he’s more influential than Pablo Picasso, Pablo Escobar, Stanley Kubrick and Apostle Paul.

Before the audio leaked, however, Kanye took to Twitter to say, “My number one enemy has been my ego.”

He further tweeted that he was wrong when when he talked about the idea of “taking the rap throne.” He clarified that every rapper has a different niche whether it be the club, the radio or the streets and said, “there is only one throne and that’s God’s.”

Maybe he knew that this audio was coming the public’s way.
