Sydney’s FBi Radio are returning with the Brush With Fame auction for the third year, offering up artworks drawn by artists who have visited the station.
As a fundraiser for the independent station, FBi are giving you the chance to own artworks hand-drawn by Grimes, Mac DeMarco, The Rubens, Hot Chip, Run The Jewels, Django Django and many more.
While they’re known for their music more than their drawing skills, there are some really talented artists amongst the bunch. DIIV’s is a near-perfect portrait, Cosmo’s Midnight’s looks like it’s straight out of a comic strip and Rustie’s dolphin is endearing. Dune Rats have decided to include a lock of hair with theirs.
The canvas artworks are available to bid on right now up until 9pm, Sunday 20th March. Right now the most popular artwork is Grimes’ which has the highest bid of over $300.
You can bid on all the artworks right here, once you make the tricky decision of which one you want to enter a bidding war for.
This latest run of artworks join pieces from Jamie xx, Vampire Weekend, Tame Impala, Florence + The Machine and more who have all channeled their inner-artist in previous years. Browse the collection in teh gallery, below.
