Musicians often get to live out fantasies the likes of which you and I could only dream of and Dan Sultan, Powderfinger‘s Bernard Fanning and You Am I seem to be keeping that trend alive as the artists recently recorded appearances for Play School’s 50th anniversary show.
A cornerstone of many of our upbringings (I used to fake sick from kindergarten so I could watch both the morning and afternoon episode), to call the ABC children’s program iconic is an understatement.
It seems to have certainly had an effect on Sultan who broke the news via Facebook of his and his fellow musicians’ involvement. Posting a collage of photos of him Fanning and Rogers and co on set, Sultan also expressed how excited he was to be working with his idols.
“I was star struck,” Sultan wrote.
“Not because my mates You Am I or Bernard Fanning but because of big Ted and little Ted. Yes!!! Just yes!!!”
Check out all the grin inducing pics for yourself here below and keep an eye out for the episode which should be airing soon.
