Australia’s biggest female and non-binary musician-featuring music festival Sad Grrrls Fest has revealed its 2016 second lineup announcement.
Joining Jess Riberio, Jaala and the Bad Bitch Choir for the Melbourne instalment will be singer-songwriter Alex Lahey and instrumentalist/songwriter Rin McArdle, who have been added to replace producer Beatrice who will now attend the Red Bull Music Academy in Canada.
It caps off a huge start to 2016 for Lahey, who has already won a triple j unearthed spot on the Splendour In The Grass lineup for this year and has also taken out the Josh Pyke partnership.
Adelaide-hailing Rin McArdle is fresh from playing at Canadian Music Week – and will bring her globe-trotting set to Sad Grrrls Fest.
