The cats behind BIGSOUND 2016 have announced the final batch of artists set to populate the conference’s live element, meaning we will now need to send the full line up off to NASA to calculate just how many bands are playing this year.
Seriously, the list is so long that you’ll get short of breath just scrolling through it. Some of the highlights include Briggs/Trails fusion A.B Original, local wave makers Babaganouj, ARIA certified DZ Deathrays, guitar wunderkid Harts, hip hop prodigy Tkay Maidza and the unstoppable Vera Blue.
They join the likes of previously announced acts like A.D.K.O.B, BANFF, Gideon Bensen, Tigertown, Totally Unicorn and Sydonia – all of whom will take to various stages at the conference from September 7th – 9th.
BIGSOUND Live and all its goodness will be spread across 15 stages in Brisbane’s entertainment mecca Fortitude Valley.
The conference element of BIGSOUND has shaped up to be equally as huge, with A.B Original expected to give a gripping keynote interview alongside Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall and UNIFIED main man Jaddan Comerford.
Start prepping your bodies now, there’ll be no time for sleep when BIGSOUND rolls around.
