After a huge inaugural year featuring the likes of RUFUS, Tkay Miadza, Sticky Fingers and more, Newcastle’s This That festival is set to return bigger and better in 2016.
Last year’s festival was attended by over 12,000 punters and organisers had already given us a save-the-date for this year’s edition, which will go down on Saturday, 5th November.
This That 2016 will feature an epic mix of artists for another party down by the harbour foreshore. Headlining the festival will be internationals ScHoolboy Q in his only Australian festival appearance of 2016, as well as Swedish singer/songwriter/producer Elliphant.
The local contingent will be well represented too, with electronic veterans Hermitude set to be joined by three of the hottest young electro acts going around at the moment; SAFIA, LDRU and Feki. There’s also party-boys Peking Duk, Perth hip hop legend Drapht, indie-rockers Ball Park Music and the ever-captivating Sampa The Great.
