Following on from news in May that legendary rappers Method Man and Redman were to tour Australia this month, the duo have had to reschedule the tour last minute, pushing it to October.
In a statement, the two hip hop icons apologise and explain that “due to a very late scheduling conflict, Method Man and Redman are unable to fulfill their shows in Australia due to commence September 8th”.
No word on what the conflict was, however the statement does go on to say that the “dates have been moved to start October 25”, as well as reporting that “the duo are looking forward to seeing all their fans then”.
All current ticket-holders are also assured that “all current tickets remain valid for the new show dates and no further action is required”, while refunds will be made available from place of purchase to any ticket-holders unable to attend the rescheduled dates.
With the name of the tour taken from the duo’s seminal 1999 album Blackout!, the tour promises to see Meth and Red breaking out hits from the album and it’s follow up Blackout! 2, as well as from the Wu Tang Clan and Def Squad members solo careers.
With their Melbourne and Fremantle shows already sold out, you better get in quick if you want to catch them in October. You can check out the new dates, below.
