Sydney grunge mofos The Dead Love have slapped us with a brand new music video for their summery new single – appropriately titled Summer – which forms the third track off their forthcoming LP, So Whatever.
The record is due to drop in a week’s time – on Friday, 9th September – and the hairy trio will kick off a run of dates around the country to toast its release.
The new clip for Summer is impressively shot in a single take using a fish-eye style, and follows frontman Stevie, bassist Clint and tublord Mielosh as they casually chill at a house party, cooking snags, smashing tinnies and occasionally strumming microwaves like guitars because So Whatever.
Keep an eye out for some cheeky cameos from a few familiar faces from the Sydney rock scene as well (we’re looking at you The Lazys, The Art and Ex-Cassette).
Possibly the most amazing thing about this whole video clip, though, is that they managed to get Frankies Pizza to deliver!
Such is the power of rock and/or roll.
