Against Me! will be releasing their forthcoming album Shape Shift With Me this coming Friday, 16th September, and the group’s Aussie fans won’t need to wait too long before the band are back in town to perform.
Speaking with Music Feeds contributor Brenton Harris, Against Me! vocalist Laura Jane Grace says that while she can’t reveal too much, the band are marking their return Down Under for 2017.
“I can’t say specifically yet, but I can give you a strong hint that we will be coming next year. If I were putting money on it, I would say that it’s definitely happening. We will see you next year.”
Against Me! were in town for a run of headline dates just last year. To combat the demand, they announced multiple shows for some lucky cities — a strong indicator that fans want them back quick smart.
If its lead singles are anything to go by, Shape Shift With Me is set to land with considerable impact, and will contain a series of anthems-in-waiting. All you need to do is listen to the tracks Crash and 333 to get your head around what to expect.
