US President Barack Obama has announced the lineup for his very own music festival set to take place on the lawn of the White House.
It’s not as if the current POTUS needed any more cred in the music industry, but it seems he’s determined to keep making the most of his last few months in office, unveiling a lineup headed by The Lumineers, and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.
The festival, aptly titled South By South Lawn, is to be co-produced by South By Southwest, and it will also see Leonardo DiCaprio premiere his new climate change doco. The cast of Stranger Things, including its kid-stars; will also be on hand to deliver a film workshop.
There will also be interactive exhibits on show throughout the day, plus panel discussions exploring how social change can be achieved to keep the USA moving forward.
South By South Lawn will take place on Monday, 3rd October 2016 – and we’re pretty much expecting this…
