Victoria’s Riverboats Music Festival has announced its return for what will be its sixth edition, handing down the official lineup for next year’s two days of bliss set on the banks of the Murray.
Leading the charge will be Australian music icons Paul Kelly & Charlie Owen and contemporaries Hoodoo Gurus. The lineup also boasts appearances from some of Australia’s most exciting current talent including Husky, Mia Dyson and Melody Pool. Our very own soulful songstress Kylie Auldist will also be performing, joined by Kiwi Aaradhna.
This year, Riverboats played host to Australian rock legends The Church and You Am I, with some contemporary vibes provided by Jack Carty, All Our Exes Live In Texas and Ruby Boots to name a few.
Taking place under a canopy of river red gums, Riverboats Music Festival is a fairly unique experience, with the only noise pollution from the outside world being to the sound of historic paddle-steamers scooting past past all weekend.
It’s about more than just the music at Riverboats, it’s about getting amongst it. Once again the fest will host the Annual Festival Breakfast and Beechworth Bakery on the Sunday with a live performance from The Meltdown. Ticket-holders are also encouraged to suss out the steamboats for a cheeky cruse as part of Pride of the Murray.
And, as if the deal could be made any sweeter, RocKwiz’s Brian Nankervis will be the MC. Catch the full lineup, below.
