Following a widely successful 2016, the supreme overlords of Australian rock in The Living End appear to have 2017 in their scopes, announcing an extensive list of regional tour dates going down in March, where they’ll be joined by none other than The Bennies.
The Staring Down The Highway tour will give the Living End boys a chance to get up close and personal with their regional fans, with the band selecting a string of small to medium-sized venues for the run, putting their stadium-sized rock output on display at your local.
From numerous ARIA nominations to a #5 debut album, new album Shift dropping back in May, to leading the live music charge at the 2016 AFL Grand Final, the way the band laid claim to 2016 almost made you wonder why they took a five-year hiatus in the first place.
News of their return was initially contained within Melbourne and Sydney, with the band confirmed for the upcoming Twilight concert series, though now the message is being spread nationwide.
Known for their ability to dig deep, the boys didn’t stop there — to coincide with their tour announcement, they’ve gifted us all with a brand new video clip for the current Shift single, and the tour’s namesake, Staring Down The Barrel.
