Axwell has put an end to those Swedish House Mafia reunion rumours that were floating around yesterday, claiming that the ‘deleted tweet’ which was the source of the rumour was actually photoshopped.
Axwell has denied that the tweet, which he had allegedly captioned “the countdown to the new era has begun. Never is too late to get back on track,” ever existed.
The ‘tweet’ showed a never-before-seen logo, seemingly a mixture of the logo for Axwell Λ Ingrosso and another A, and also included the date for next year’s Ultra Music Festival, which got Swedish House Mafia fans going absolutely nuts about the possibility that they might be reuniting at the festival.
Axwell has since taken to Twitter to debunk the tweet, saying, “Doesn’t take much more than a wise guy with photoshop to start a rumour.”
