In the lead up to the release of their forthcoming new album, Gorillaz have been uploading a series of animated online comics to their social media channels, and now they’ve released the fourth in the series The Book Of 2D.
It follows a story of the band’s Damon Albarn-voiced lead singer and keyboard player Stuart ‘2D’ Pot – and follows The Book Of Noodle, The Book Of Russel, and The Book Of Murdoc.
The latest book in the series follows 2D’s adventures as we get swallowed by a whale named Massive Dick (no relation to Moby), eats some suspicious brownies, comes third in a wet t-shirt contest and finally, is reunited with his band mates.
The new album release appears to be imminent now, and Albarn has already revealed that De La Soul and Snoop Dogg will both feature on the record.
