The smoothest stringlord this side of Spanish Harlem, Carlos Santana, has announced a huge run of Bluesfest 2017 sideshows with his m8s The Doobie Brothers.
On top of their appearance at the juggernaut 2017 Byron Bay festival, the pair will also be joining forces for a run of arena dates across Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney in April of next year, with all bar Adelaide open to fans of all ages.
Santana will also be shredding up the stage at a stand-alone show in Canberra, where he’ll be supported by none other than Aussie shooting guitar star, Tash Sultana.
What’s more, the massive double-bill of Santana and the Doobie Brothers will get even massive-r in Adelaide, with support from Aussie blues icon Russell Morris, wile The Doobies will also be playing their own stand-alone headlining show in Brisbane, post-Bluesfest.
Santana’s Transmogrify Tour marks the fretboard lord’s first Aussie headlining dates since 2011. Catch all the tour and ticket details, below.
