Broadbeach Country Music Festival has announced its 2017 lineup, topped by an iconic International act.
America, the legendary British band behind hits like A Horse With No Name, will headline the festival on the Gold Coast next July.
Founding member Dan Peek died back in 2011 but Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell have carried on even recording a new album, 2015’s Lost & Found. They toured the country just last year but they’re returning for some more in 2017.
They’re the only International act on the lineup but that doesn’t mean the quality dips. A bunch of great local names have also been announced including country Queen Kasey Chambers, local country music staple Troy Cassar-Daley and Shane Nicholson who is celebrating 20 years as a recording artist.
Broadbeach Country Music Festival will go down in July and the best part about it is it’s completely free.
