Tkay Maidza, Japanese Wallpaper & More Aussies Join 2017 SXSW Lineup

Texas music mecca South By Southwest (SXSW) has added a whopping 498 new acts to its 2017 lineup, including 21 Aussies who will join the posse of local artists already confirmed for the industry event.

Leading the newest Aussie additions for SXSW are rising Adelaide rapper Tkay Maidza, producer Japanese Wallpaper, Melbourne duo Slum Sociable and Tame Impala musician Cameron Avery. They’re joined by the likes of All Our Exes Live In Texas, The Rumjacks, Woodes and more.

Today’s Aussie additions follow on from three previous artist announcements for SXSW, which saw the likes of Hockey Dad, Mansionair, KUČKA, Middle Kids, Alex Lahey, Vera Blue and Oscar Key Sung secure their spots on this year’s SXSW lineup.

SXSW 2017 will run from 14th to 19th March in Austin, Texas. Catch a list of all its Aussie artists below, and the full lineup over at the SXSW website.
