In Australia as a part of the Laneway Festival lineup, Norwegian singer/songwriter AURORA dropped by triple j to unveil a stunning cover of Massive Attack‘s 1998 hit ‘Teardrop’.
Describing the English group as “magnificent” before launching into the cover, she showed off her incredibly warm and resonant vocals, as well as her supreme range whilst also playing keyboard on the hauntingly beautiful cover, capturing the essence of the original incredibly well.
While in the studio AURORA also performed a stripped back version of her massive 2016 single ‘Warrior’ featuring only a guitar and drumming box as backing instrumentals.
AURORA is currently performing at Laneway Festival as it moves across the country and will play her final headline sideshow in Melbourne next week.
