The first-ever When We Were Young Festival in Santa Ana, California has revealed its debut lineup, and it is legit wet dream material for emo kids everywhere.
Going down this April, the inaugural When We Were Young Festival will feature a bunch of ’90s and early-’00s punk and emo outfits, including AFI, Descendents, Taking Back Sunday, Alkaline Trio and The Get Up Kids.
Oh, and the whole thing will be headlined by The Smiths’ frontman and OG sad boy, Morrissey.

There are a few more contemporary acts on the lineup as well, like FIDLAR, Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups, Foxygen and Beach Fossils, as well as singer-songwriter and producer Mount Eerie, for some reason.
Disappointingly, as SPIN points out, only five of the 35 bands on the roster feature women. Catch the full lineup, below.
