Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold has told his Instagram followers that a new Fleet Foxes song will be out “in a few days” during an impromptu Q&A.
Pecknold uploaded an Instagram captioning it, “Emoting passive aggressively,” before answering some of the questions thrown at him in the comments.
“Albums a couple months out but long song in a few days,” he said, suggesting that the song may be out as early as this week.
He also revealed that the album will be 56 minutes with 11 tracks. The first song to drop from it sits at track number 5 in the context of the album.
“Feels like a growth beyond both to me but with enough elements retained so as to still be the same project / idea,” he further said when asked if it was similar to the previous two Fleet Foxes albums.
He didn’t really give any other details away apart from that he’s “excited” for the song and the album to drop and he’s also worried that his hairline may be receding.
Fleet Foxes season is impending. Get ready. And we may be seeing them very soon as the band has teased an Australian tour for May.
