UPDATE: Paramore have released their new single ‘Hard Times’, from their upcoming album After Laughter.
UPDATE: It’s now been confirmed that Paramore’s new single ‘Hard Times’ will arrive tomorrow.
ORIGINAL STORY: Paramore are gearing up to release a new album, and it looks like our first taste of the record will be released in the next 24 hours. What’s more, it appears that Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus might have something to do with Paramore’s new tunes.
Taking to Twitter today, Hoppus told fans he had some time for some questions…

…before answering a bunch and finishing up by dropping this bombshell:

It’s unclear if Hoppus produced some of Paramore’s new album, if he features on it, if he was the one who convinced the band to drop a new track tomorrow, or if he’s just joking about the whole thing.
The producer of Paramore’s 2013 self-titled album, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, has recently been photographed in the studio with the band, so he’ll likely cop the main producer credit on the group’s new record.
Last month, a potential list of songs from Paramore’s new album appeared online, leading fans to think that the record could be just around the corner, and it seems like it definitely is.
Aside from dropping the bombshell about Paramore, Hoppus also used his time on Twitter today to answer questions about Harry Potter, Blink’s next album and more. Check out our favourite replies, below.
