Arctic Monkeys Look To Be Hard At Work On Their Sixth Album

It’s been a long time in between drinks for Arctic Monkeys, four years to be exact, but the wait for their sixth album may be over soon.

A number on Instagram posts suggest that the band are back in the studio working on the follow-up to 2013’s AM.

The post that has fans talking is an Instagram by drummer Matt Helders, who posted his drum kit surrounded by microphones suggesting he’s doing more than just practicing.

It further fuels speculation that started when photographer Daniel Cavalli posted pictures of the band hanging out in LA. There was also a picture that showed Alex Turner sitting at the piano.

Before that, the band was last photographed altogether in Sheffield before Christmas.

Even though it’s been four years since AM, the band haven’t been on a prolonged holiday. Alex Turner released another The Last Shadow Puppets record while Helders worked with Iggy Pop on the Post Pop Depression tour.
