Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory has announced the return of its beloved under 18s music event XraySpeX, which will make its way back to the venue with a kick-ass lineup this July.
The new series of XraySpeX events, which is being bolstered by the support of MusicNSW and City Of Sydney, will see students and young people work with industry professionals to put together a bunch of shows featuring some A+ local artists.
First launched in 2008, XraySpeX hosted the debut Oxford Art shows from the likes of Tame Impala, The Presets and Art Vs. Science.
This year, the series will kick off with a show on Sunday, 9th July, featuring quirky singer-songwriter Bec Sandridge, rockers The Vanns and 17-year-old musician and producer Ninajirachi, as well as a bunch of other homegrown talent.
The show will be a drug and alcohol-free event. Peep the full lineup below, alongside ticket details.
Last year, MusicNSW and Cit Of Sydney also launched a new program to help fund more all-ages gigs in Sydney.
UPDATE: Sydney six-piece Winston Surfshirt have now joined the 2017 XraySpeX lineup.
