Sydney just got a new mini-festival Formations showcasing some of the finest electronic acts from around the world.
It’s all set to go down in October at Manning Bar and it will pair forward-thinking music with innovative visuals and staging built by Melbourne artist HYPER REELIST who has also worked on OutsideIn and Strawberry Fields.
Swindail is the first act on the bill, coming hot off a brand new remix of Flight Facilities’ ‘Arty Boy’. The Sydney producer has had a really strong few years working with artists like GoldLink.
He’s joined by German producer Mazde who will bring with him his swag of originals and remixes for the likes of ODESZA and Disclosure. Montell2099, the New Zealand beat-maker who recently teamed up with US rapper 21 Savage, is also on the bill alongside Sydney producer aywy and tune selectors Flex Mami and Jade Le Flay.
This is just the first lineup and more artists are expected to be announced before the event.
