They teased it, and now it’s here — eternal rock dads Foo Fighters have made their debut appearance on The Late Late Show‘s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment, complete with a cover of Rick Astley’s hit meme song ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.
Dave Grohl and company’s time with host James Corden featured a whole lotta’ air drumming, tour stories and even a trip to a local music store for a quick jam, all while Foos belted out hits like ‘All My Life’, ‘Best Of You’ and ‘Learn To Fly’.
They even had time for a sneaky cover of ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, but this isn’t the first time they’ve covered the song; they actually covered it with Astley himself in a surprise Nirvana mashup last month.
Foo Fighters will return to Australia in 2018, for a huge headline tour supported by their mates Weezer.
