Newcastle’s This That Festival has expanded its 2017 lineup with the addition of some new acts and a triple j Unearthed competition winner.
Newcastle locals Luunes caught the ears of the triple j team with their electro-pop output, and have today been added to the This That roster alongside the likes of Jayteehazard, Jericho and DJ Danny. Peep the full, updated lineup below.
With only four weeks to go until This That 2017, organisers have also introduced a new space called ‘The Other’, which will see a bunch of audio-visual artists perform as part of ‘The Imaginarium’ stage. ‘The Other’ will also feature spaces to chill, local DJs, roving performers and the Hunt & Gather markets.
This That is also adopting some new green initiatives this year, going straw-free and eliminating single-use water bottles backstage. Festival-goers can also recycle their cups and cans at drink stations for cash, or donate the money they raised to Taronga Zoo’s Wildlife Witness program.
This That is now in its third year, and will hit Newcastle’s Wickham Park on Saturday, 4th November.
