Newly-reformed 90s rockers Bush have announced they are to release their first album in 10 years, with The Sea Of Memories due to come out on September 13 on their own label Zuma Rock Records, according to Hollyreporter.com
Vocalist and Mr Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, still leads the band and with drummer Robin Goodridge is the sole original member in Bush’s line-up. Guitarist Nigel Pulsford and bassist Dave Parsons opted not to join in with the reunion, and they have been replaced accordingly.
Tracks reported to be appearing on the new LP are The Sound Of Winter, The Heart Of The Matter and All Night Doctors. The Sea Of Memories is the first Bush album since 2001’s Golden State.
Rossdale said that the new songs mark a new direction for the band, who always managed more success in the US than in Rossdale’s native UK. He said, “When making music, you have a choice to repeat what you’ve done or move on. I like the idea of changing, developing and morphing.”
Bush have a number of shows lined up over the American summer. Bush originally packed it in in 2002, with Rossdale going on to form new band Institute as well as release a solo album WANDERlust.
