Aussie rockers Gang Of Youths have hit out at ticket scalpers, after a fan missed out on tickets to an upcoming show because a large number of them had allegedly been scalped.
Gang Of Youths fan Scott Jackson took to Twitter to call out Los Angeles venue The Moroccan Lounge, saying, “How is it there are single users on StubHub selling 10 tickets (for like 4-5x face value) for the Gang Of Youths shows in May?
“There’s got to be a better way to stop this nonsense in 2018. Sorry Gang Of Youths, I wanted to see you again but scalpers won out.”
Gang Of Youths have since replied, telling Jackson, “We are so sorry man. Fucking scalpers are disgusting pieces of shit,” while also tweeting:

In response, Jackson said…

i guess on the positive side for you guys, you know you're trending in the right direction in the US when these assholes can scalp your tix! just would rather the money go to you guys instead of those lazy assholes!

The Moroccan Lounge is yet to comment.
Gang Of Youths’ current US tour hasn’t been a super-smooth one, given that the band were allegedly robbed after their tour van was broken into, and a US airline allegedly managed to break one of frontman Dave Le’Aupepe’s guitars.
As for scalping, Google says it has started to crack down on dodgy ticket resellers, while New South Wales last year banned the use of ticket scalping bots in an Aussie first.
