In the latest episode of ‘Grimes & Elon Mush Dominate The News Cycle’, the Canadian electronic legend tweeted that she plans to change her name from ‘Claire’ to ‘c‘ – yep, a lowercase, italicised letter c.

Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) says that boyfriend Elon Musk partially inspired the name change, but apparently everyone close to her calls her ‘c’ anyway.

Since Grimes and Musk started dating, she has seemingly become even more eccentric than usual. She recently posted a potential album tracklist which included song titles like ‘So Heavy i fell through the earth’ and ‘blaze forever like a useless star.’
It’s been three years since Grimes’ last album, Art Angels, was released and hopefully we’ll get new music from c soon.
