After months of speculation, triple j has finally revealed the rural location which will host 2018’s free and all-ages One Night Stand festival.
This year, the event is headed to St Helens, in north-east Tasmania! (At the St Helens Football Club, more specifically).
Peking Duk and Vance Joy will be spearheading the lineup packed with triple j favourites, including the likes of Tkay Maidza, Middle Kids and Alex The Astronaut. It’s all going down on Saturday, 1st September.
Like in previous years, 2018 saw rural communities submit expressions of interest to host the event, but St Helens eventually won out.
Last year’s One Night Stand in Mount Isa was fronted by The Smith Street Band and San Cisco, with Tash Sultana and Thundamentals also coming along.
