Melbourne’s Dogapalooza Festival Returns, Drops First Music Lineup For 2018

Melbourne’s beloved ‘Coachella for dogs’ festival Dogapalooza is back for another year, after a sold-out event in 2017.

Hitting up Burnley Park for one doggo-loving day this November, Dogapalooza today announced the very first acts on its 2018 music lineup, naming singer-songwriter and producer Hayden Calnin and DJ Lorde Florence Fleetwood on its (all-human) entertainment roster.

As always, organisers are also promising food trucks and beer a’plenty (for the humans) and plenty of good times and friends for doggos of all shapes and sizes.

‘Early Dog’ tickets go on sale next week, as do the festival’s VIP Packages, which will give doggo VIPs access to their own their own fenced off VIP area directly opposite the stage, their own toilets and a bunch of other goodies at this year’s puppy party.

All proceeds from the festival will help support a number of doggo and non-doggo charities and organisations, including Oscar’s Law, Puppy Tails, Melbourne Animal Rescue, Greyhound Rescue Victoria, The Orangutan Project, Wildwood Shelter, Andara Wildlife Sanctuary and Little Wild Sanctuary.

Dogapalooza debuted in Melbourne in 2015, after hosting two events in Adelaide.
