Melbourne rapper Ivan Ooze has today announced a new regional tour and dropped a new track ‘Deserve’, the first offering from his upcoming EP, due out later this year.
The new track is a collaboration between Ooze, renowned producer Plutonic Lab and Kingswood guitarist Alex Laska, and it’s a lot cleaner and more succinct than his previous tracks.
Ivan Ooze has recently signed to Cooking Vinyl Australia, which has inspired him to experiment more vocally and with production, which explains the guitar, bass and drums on the tune.
“My other stuff hasn’t sounded that professional so it was a new avenue, but now I listen back to it I’m even more proud of it,” he says.
“When I started writing it was mainly to get the aggression out. Now I’m way more chill. I don’t like raising my voice because I like it mellow.”
On top of the signing and the new track, Ivan Ooze has also announced a regional tour in August, hitting up Bendigo, Ballarat, Newcastle, and Canberra. Catch all the fetails below.
